In Mercato Paweł creates menu which combines local and seasonal products in a modern way, with culinary trends from around the world.
The main flavors presented in the menu are inspired by traditional recipes, but introduced with modern vision of cooking, which uses the latest trends and techniques.
Paweł is surrounded by a wonderful team of 28 professionals without whom it would not be possible to create such exceptional delicacies.
For five years, the restaurant and the team have received a variety of awards and accolades, to name but a few that they hold truly dear.
In 2016, Mercato team (Nina Nawrocka & Paweł Stawicki) won Polish Championship in dessert “Expo Sweet”
In 2015, Mercato was awarded three toques and 15 points in the international restaurant guide Gault&Millau, thus being named in this prestigious guide as one of the 10 best restaurants in Poland.
Mercato was the only one restaurant in Tri-City to win a Wine Spectator Award 2013 in recognition of its excellent wine list. Two years later Mercato received the title of Awards of Excellence.
In 2012, Mercato was named best in three out of four categories in the Poland’s Best Restaurant competition Wine & Food Noble Night; it also received the most prestigious award of the evening that went to only one restaurant considered as the best for overall achievements by an international jury of professionals.
